National Condom Week was originally started on the campus of the University of California - Berkeley. It has since grown into a worldwide educational event for high schools, colleges and sexually transmitted disease awareness groups. It is now more important than ever to educate young people about the dangers of HIV or risk returning to the ignorance of the 80s.

National Condom Week continues to emphasize the importance of using humor to help educate young people as opposed to what can be the more sombre 1st December World Aids Day.

With this in mind a new teaching resource has been made available to schools that want to take their sexual health responsibilities seriously.

To celebrate this year's National Condom Week, the Johnny Condom Education Resource is being made available FREE to schools. Containing lesson plans, videos and interviews with health professionals, The Johnny Condom Education Resource has everything a school needs to support them with the education of young people about the dangers of HIV and Aids.
