Angelo's has served quality Italian food for many years, but the last Wichita location closed due to the owner's disability. Now, Jack Fasciano has launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring Angelo's back to Wichita.
Wichita, KS -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/16/2015 -- In 1958, the founder of Angelo's began a pizza delivery business from his home, with wife , Anna , and his son, 11-year-old Jack Fasciano, delivering the pies from his red wagon. Through the years, Angelo's became a Wichita staple, with thousands of customers enjoying the pizzas and other Italian fare offered by the restaurant. In 2006, Jack closed the last location due to medical disability. However, he continued to receive requests for homemade pizzas and other dishes. Now, Jack is ready to open a "Take and Bake" with frozen, family-sized versions of Angelo's favorite dishes and has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund this endeavor.

The Kickstarter campaign will raise funds for a new six-burner range, a walk-in freezer and refrigerator, work tables and other appliances and fixtures necessary to open the "Take and Bake" outlet as well as inventory. At least 50,000 customers will make up the base that will purchase this iconic Italian cuisine.
At the $10 level, the donor's name and photograph will go on the wall at the new location. For $26, the donor will also receive a certificate of acknowledgement. For $51 or more, donors become "Gold Members" and receive a hat with the Angelo's crest, as well as the other gifts. At the $250+ level, donors receive a free pizza per month for one year as well as the previous gifts.
