Blood of the Wolf: Religion, Philosophy and Aliens Collide, as Bold New Sci-Fi Fantasy Novel Recounts Author's Twisted Dreams

Masterfully crafted by Jeremy Hanson, ‘Blood of the Wolf’ fuses the author’s life story, twisted dreams and cutting-edge imagination to produce a fantastical sci-fi adventure unlike anything else on the market.

Portland, OR -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/17/2015 -- While the Sci-Fi Fantasy genre has long been a staple of the literary landscape, both readers and critics are currently crying out for wholly unique new narratives that don't succumb to recycling of the 'same old' concepts. Thankfully, author Jeremy Hanson steps up to the plate with gusto, drawing inspiration from his own life.

'Blood of the Wolf' thrusts readers into a world alongside the last Earth guardian, created by a race of wolf-like aliens; a man who must try to rebuild the kingdom of his people while convincing them to overlook their toxic religious and political differences.

Synopsis:

Michael is the last of his kind on Earth. A genetically engineered guardian of the planet. He was created by a race of wolf like aliens, the ancestors of the werewolves of today. Only today's werewolves were never supposed to be this bloodthirsty.

They are the result of a curse placed upon Michael's creators as a distraction during wartime. The only catch is Michael doesn't know. He just thinks he's a normal high school student. Aside from those damn apocalyptic visions he can't seem to shake.

"As strange as it may sound, parts of this novel are a direct recount of my life story," explains the author. "I have fused them with my imagination and my dreams to convey a unique religious philosophy that directly challenges the views of each and every reader."

Continuing, "The narrative questions evil, and then explores how people's individual operating philosophies fit into it. Because everyone has a different take on religion and politics, it essentially becomes an adventure that is unique to each person. And the fact it is all inspired by the events of my own life adds a quirky if slightly chilling undercurrent."

Since its release, the book has garnered a string of rave reviews. R. Turnball comments, "Jeremy Hanson has a visceral writing style that gripped me and reminded me of a certain sub-section of authors that I enjoy who write pulp fiction (George G. Gilman comes to mind). The story rides side-saddle with glimpses of the author's twisted mind and never once did I mind how fantastical things got, mostly because the story moves along at a pretty good clip and is very easy to read, but also because I enjoyed accompanying the characters on their adventure. Keep in mind that the subject matter can get very intense at times, but for me that's when things go from good to great in a guilty pleasure kind of way."

Annette Chamberlain adds, "Fantastic Science Fiction Novel!!!!......Can't wait to read the next book in the series."
