Modesto, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/03/2015 -- The goal of The 99 is to bring about political change through the medium of music.  According to the group, "The goal of this project is to get messages of the need for change out to the American people through music.  Messages that reinforce and promote dialog regarding issues they are already feeling and thinking about….. Music that speaks to the need for socio/political change in this country we all love, America."

The song "Rough Times in America" has made its way up the charts for the past few weeks.  In that time, it has climbed from #174 on the Adult Contemporary charts to #83.  The project has reached the critical "over air radio play" phase and gained more than 21,500 followers and fans in total, 91,745 Song Plays, 47,376 Video Plays, 390 ReverbNation Fans, 7,012 Facebook Likes, 13,979 Twitter Followers and 3,732 Widget Impressions.
