www.mOppenheim.TV Seeks Crowdfunding via Kickstarter to Drive Awareness of Nonprofits in the San Francisco Bay Area

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/11/2015 -- With nonprofits so critical to strong communities, we seek investors who will make nonprofits stronger by directly funding their marketing. This project showcases the work of Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, Juma Ventures, and Trust for Public Land (TPL).

The plan is to produce six promotional and educational videos, and distribute the material to the public and each organization's funders, constituents and supporters free of charge. All videos will be hosted & distributed via YouTube, iTunes, social media, mOppenheimTV, and on each partner's website.

- Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco builds homes and community in partnership with thousands of volunteers, hard-working families, donors, civic leaders and other engaged community members. With more than 200 affordable homes built in the Bay Area, Habitat is currently building Habitat Terrace, a development of 28 single-family homes in San Francisco's Ocean View neighborhood, and Mt. Burdell Place, a 10-home development in Novato.
- Juma Ventures is a national, award-winning youth development program serving more than 1,300 low-income students in seven cities, including Oakland, Santa Clara and San Francisco. Juma's program combines employment in social enterprises, college preparation, and financial asset building to create a safe, supportive community where low-income youth can achieve their dreams of a college education.
- Trust for Public Land creates parks and protects land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. Nearly ten million people live within a ten-minute walk of a Trust for Public Land park, garden, or natural area, and millions more visit these sites every year.

This collaborative effort will strengthen the Bay Area nonprofit community while providing participating organizations with unique exposure to new audiences. Return on Investment (ROI) will be measured in terms of driving: mass awareness for these important nonprofits, and support for their work building community.
