JLC International Offers Competitively Priced Inert Flowmeters for OEM Applications


New Britain, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/27/2015 -- JLC International introduces the latest version of the very widely used series 800 flowmeters. The flowmeters are commonly used by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers in applications such as dozing chemicals, dispensing, laboratory procedures, cooling, pharmaceutical, medical and semiconductor.

The embedded ceramic magnets of the series 800 are detected through the camber wall by a Hall Effect detector. The magnets are now fully encapsulated with the same material as the turbine and body: FDA approved grade of PVDF, providing the highest degree of inertness. The seal is standard of Viton®, but alternatives are available, such as Simrez, Kalrez, nitrile, silicon and EPDM. The series 800 flowmeters are truly designed to provide long term chemical resistance.

The low-cost series 800 flowmeters are available in six different ranges, starting at 0.013 gpm up to 4.0 gpm, over a wide temperature range of -10 to 260 °F. Little tweaks in the form and shape of the internal components, such as the turbine, the chamber wall, and the sapphire axis, etc., have improved the performance in the lower flow ranges.
