The registration of new cars for private individuals was up by 3.4% month on month. However, the biggest growth was for fleet sales.

Again, the fact that many of the new sales are being sold to fleet owners is good news because the majority, of fleet owners replace their vehicles on a three-year cycle. This means that there will be plenty of three-year-old vehicles for used car dealers to offer to their customers. In other words, exactly the vehicles their customers are looking for.
In addition, there are new PCP deals being made available. This means that people looking for a used car can easily find low cost finance something that has not been possible in the past. Most in the industry expect 2015 to be a busy year for the entire car industry.
