Speaking to the media Roseland Bergues, the mother of 17 year old author said, "Our book was inspired by Marianna's Father who told her this story when she was seven years old. Marianna promptly wrote it down, and made a book with drawings in it. She put it away, and now at the age of 17, she wanted it published, but this time in different languages, so all the kids around the world can read it." She further added, "I hope kids enjoy reading this book."
The book teaches the importance of responsibility and has many pictures making the reading enjoyable for kids. The story is about a waiter named Peter, who is assigned the job of taking care of the pets of his friend. However, the pets go missing and Peter, a waiter by profession, has to search for the missing pets before his friends return from the vacation. He uses his skills and intelligence to search them.
Illustration in the book is by the father of an author, Christian Bergues, who is also the co-author of a book.
