The ResQ Wallet is an innovative, slender, durable wallet that's the brainchild of a third generation fireman. Made of upcycled firehose and hand sewn by a master seamstress, the wallet is functional, as slim as imaginable and a great conversation piece. Recently a Kickstarter campaign was announced to raise the necessary funds to bring the first run to market.
Irvine, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/10/2015 -- Many people would agree, they truly need to simplify their bulky wallet. Not only can they be a confusing mess, with too many things being stuffed in them and carried around every day, but they also often look terrible when carried in pants pockets as well. Third generation fireman Jesse Nettles, along with his brother Jason Nettles have come up with an innovative solution to this problem – the ResQ Wallet, and have recently turned to Kickstarter to make it happen. The ResQ Wallet is a minimalist, upcycled wallet made of fire hose – slim, sleek, comfortable and rugged. The early response to the concept has been wildly enthusiastic.
"When we set out to design ResQ Wallet, we wanted something that was simple, functional, and light-weight," commented Jason Nettles. "After months of prototypes and testing several different designs, we've fine-tuned the ResQ Wallet into something we absolutely love to carry in our pockets. We can't wait get to get one in yours!"
The crowdfunding campaign has set a goal of $25,000, which covers the cost needed to upgrade equipment and bring the first run of ResQ Wallets to market.
Importantly, the company intends on helping out their communities with every ResQ Wallet sold.
"From the beginning of our journey with the ResQ Wallet we wanted to be involved in giving back to the community," commented Jesse Nettles, about the breakthrough product. "As a fireman, I see people in their toughest hour and the hardest times in their lives. The ResQ wallet will help us to accomplish that goal by donating a portion of our proceeds to firefighter charities."
According to the company, a large number of perks are available based on donation size, and every donation – large or small – is greatly appreciated.
