TheBestCompanys.com to Launch New Credit Cards Vertical

Credit Cards will be on of the newest verticals to join TheBestCompanys.com

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/15/2015 -- TheBestCompanys.com (TBC) plans to launch another vertical by the end of April. Credit cards will be one of the newest verticals added to the TBC queue.

The credit cards vertical features different types of credit cards that banks offer to potential clients. The launch is the first step in proving more transparent information to consumers about credit cards.

"There are so many different types of credit cards to choose from," TBC PR Director Kate Ward said. "This vertical presents a small fraction of what is out there. Our review team is working hard to add more cards to the vertical."

It's initial launch by the end of April will feature 12 credit cards from four of the major banks in the country. The criteria for the vertical will include:

- Bank Membership requirement
- Annual Card Fees
- Card APR
- Card Rewards
- Late Payment Penalties
- Additional Features
- User Reviews
- Expert Score

Each credit card will be scored based on these factors. Each criteria is weighted differently based on what the TBC review team feels is more important.

Combined, each criteria point will help create an overall score to help determine which card is the right fit for each person.

"The TBC team created this criteria based on extensive research about the credit card industry," Ward said. "It's their goal to for consumers to feel confident in choosing a card that is right for them."

User Reviews also play a large part in the overall score. The TBC team believes the more user reviews, the more informed potential customers will be about the cards. They want users to have a voice when it comes to how they spend their money.

While this initial launch features 12 companies, the TBC team plans on adding more in the coming months to provide more information to potential customers. The TBC team is looking forward to providing more customers with information regarding credit cards.

To date, BestCompanys.com has over 1,500 companies and almost 7,000 reviews.
