Børkop, Denmark -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/20/2015 -- Charlotte Mandrup has had a dream of designing and producing handmade luxurious lingerie for women of all shapes and sizes since she was 13 years old and went to work in a corset specialty shop.  Now, Mandrup has founded Haute Couture Lingerie and hopes to raise funds through an IndieGoGo campaign to produce her original pieces.  Mandrup has designed several impressive lines of lingerie that offer handmade luxury, quality materials and a beautiful design that is flattering to the female figure.  She hopes to produce these pieces on a large scale with help from IndieGoGo campaign funds.

According to Mandrup, "I want to honor the modern woman's body exactly as it is; with no restrictions, no metal wires, no padding. Just the feel of silk or cotton directly on the skin. I want to give her a feeling of stepping back in time on this one point: her lingerie. Back to a time when clothes were made by selected silks, cut and sewn by hand and carefully wrapped in tissue paper. I want her to know that what she is wearing next to her skin has been made by somebody who cares."

The funds raised by this campaign will be used to put two initial collections into production, create a web page and design logo and hire advertising experts.  Contributors to the IndieGoGo campaign located at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/haute-couture-lingerie will receive a personal letter, an ongoing account, a pair of silk briefs, or a set of silk lingerie or sleep wear, depending on their levels of contribution.  For more information on the prizes available at each pledge level, visit the IndieGoGo page.
