By answering just one essay question, students in Belltown, Seattle have the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship fund to aid them in their education, sponsored by Belltown Spine and Wellness.
Seattle, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/21/2015 -- Education is the most important fundamental building block of society, and yet it is getting harder and harder for students to advance their education, and much of the challenge is created simply by the material cost of it. The rise and rise of tuition fees has made it more difficult than ever to pursue education, and students need all the help they can get. Seattle Chiropractor Dr. Scott Mindel of Belltown Spine and Wellness has created the Belltown Wellness Scholarship to help students in the local community pursue their dreams.
The premise is simple – answer one question and get the opportunity to win $1,000 dollars to be used to pay for educational fees, materials and living costs. The question, "In what ways can a holistic perspective improve healthcare in the U.S.?"
Answers to the question should consider and evaluate the changing role played by complementary therapies like the chiropractic arts. The competition will remain open until the 1st of August, whereupon the answers will be evaluated and a winner announced, to benefit from the money just in time for the start of the academic year.
A spokesperson for Belltown Spine and Wellness explained, "Dr. Mindel is a champion of education and of broadening the mind through independent research and evaluation. The essay question seeks to flex these muscles on a subject he is passionate about, hoping to encourage students to explore holistic medical approaches and reward them for doing so. Of course, the scholarship will also help a student pursue the education of their choice, which is something Dr. Mindel is also passionate about. We look forward to reading the answers students submit, and cannot wait to announce the winner in August."
