Nautical Ventures Will Sponsor Two Delegates from China in Unprecedented Exchange Program for Upcoming Bahamas Tournament

 

Dania Beach, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/21/2015 -- Nautical Venture Group, along with Hobie Kayak representative Doug Sparks, have spearheaded an innovative angler exchange program between the United States and China resulting in the joint sponsorship of two international Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournaments.

Yin Gouchen, Secretary General of the China Angling Association in Bejing, China, will be participating in the Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament 2015 Saltwater World Championship in the Bahamas, April 23rd – 26th. Mr. Gouchen is the highest ranking government executive in the recreational fishing industry in China. A second Chinese delegate, Max Wan, will be accompanying the Secretary General.

According to Roger Moore, CEO of Nautical Ventures, "We are genuinely excited over the prospects this exchange program brings to both cultures. We've been working on the details for close to two years, working through government red tape. Hobie Kayak representative Doug Sparks, who will be sponsoring the American team, notes the following, "In a reciprocal fashion, our Chinese counterparts will host two American delegates in an upcoming International Tournament this fall in China. Our American delegates are yet to be determined buy will most likely be chosen from the winners of the Bahamas tournament."

In recent years, Extreme Kayak Fishing has become one of the fastest growing angler sports in China, outpacing traditional sportfishing activities.
