Speaking to the media, Sandy Keehn, president of the institution said, "We offer fun immersive entertainment where people can come with friends or family and try to solve the clues and puzzles to see if they have what it takes to escape.  When you open the door to the School of Hard Locks you leave 2015 behind and step into a world frozen in 1970. Ms. Keehn has a degree in Theatre Management from Cornell University.  What sets The School Of Hard Locks apart from the other Escape Rooms is its integrated theme interwoven with themed interlocking puzzles, clues and mysteries.

Experts in this field believe the game will help participants develop and sharpen their social, logical and analytical skills. These games are completely a mental exercise, a Ropes Course for the mind.

Participants  have the option of forming their own sleuthing team where their only opponent is the clock.  Teams may be comprised of family, friends or puzzle enthusiasts.  It can be played by any adult and no prior experience is required.
