Author of Hauptmann Vaterland Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Raise Publication Funds

Sebastian Jäger, the author of the graphic novel Hauptmann Vaterland, the story of a dark Superhero in an alternative world in which Germany won World War II, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to publish this work.

 

Vienna, Austria -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/15/2015 -- Hauptmann Vaterland  by Sebastian Jäger is the story of an alternative universe in which Germany won the second World War, leading to grave consequences for earth.  The story opens 30 years after the end of the war, with London obliterated by a nuclear bomb, the Third Reich in turmoil after the deaths of Hitler and Rommel and the SS a terrorist organization, placing the entire world in danger.  Into this scene strides Hauptmann Vaterland, a dark hero inspired by the stories of Batman, Sin City and Watchmen.  Vaterland will fight the leader of the SS and attempt to save the world in the course of the story.

With this exciting scenario, creator Sebastian Jäger has launched a Kickstarter campaign at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1156725756/hauptmann-vaterland/ to raise funds for the production of this graphic novel in both English and German.  The funds will be used to pay artists to create and bring to life this post-WWII world as well as printing of the novel in both languages.
