Normal, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/20/2015 -- Morning Host Ian Bayne at Cities 92.9 FM talk is launching a blog that will put into perspective the campaigns of two high profiles Republican candidates that face off in a special election on July 7 2015 to replace US Rep Schock in a very Republican district.

Obama cabinet secretary Ray LaHood's son Darin will face off against DC based Breitbart editor Mike Flynn.

Darin LaHood, appointed to the state senate after losing an election for state's attorney, has called himself conservative but has come out in favor of liberal positions, such as a higher gas tax. LaHood lost his previous election due to legal ethics problems when serving as a prosecutor in Nevada.

"This is Washington elite versus Washington anti-elite," said Bayne, who has served in high profile campaigns, such as Romney 2002. "This campaign very well could tell us what happens in the presidential race."
