The Chinese photographer Huang Qingjun's recent project has involved taking pictures of homeowner's online purchased goods in front of their homes, which showcases purchasing habits across the country. The most interesting element of note in this project is the range of people who shop online, with densely populated as well as sparse areas of the country covered.
This project is a sequel to his homeowner's project, which took everything outside for photographing, and this time the focus highlights the impact online shopping has had versus purchases made offline. It was revealed that online shopping acted as a lifeline in remote areas.
Huang said, 'I look for people from all corners of China to showcase what they have. It's a transparent and interesting way to look into people's lives.
