New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/03/2015 -- DimensionU, Inc., in collaboration with New York City Public Schools, is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual DimensionU NYC Math Games! This engaging academic event will take place on Thursday, June 11, at IS 30 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Six New York City middle schools from three boroughs are participating this year. Each school will bring a mixed-grade level team of five students, who will each compete against the other school teams in a round-robin style tournament.

All students will also compete in a separate individual competition. The event will utilize the DimensionU Games platform, which delivers math and literacy curriculum for grades 3 – 9, in a fast-paced, multiplayer video game environment.
