No need to strap yourself into a silver DeLorean time traveling machine to take a trip back to the past. Queens Flushing Meadows Park has its own time traveling machine and New York' own Ghost Doctors know exactly where it's parked.
New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/04/2015 -- Pete and Stew Kandel (known as Dr. Pete and Dr. Stew) noted paranormal investigators and licensed NYC tour guides known as New York's own "Ghost Doctors" have been investigating Flushing Meadows Park -- the old World's Fair grounds -- and they may have discovered the secret of moving forward and backwards in time.
"Many of the old remnants of the two World's Fairs are still standing in Flushing Meadows and there is evidence of some paranormal activity associated with them," says Dr. Stew. "In fact there's a secluded area of the park that houses two Westinghouse time capsules, one buried back in 1938 and another in 1965. They're buried over 50 feet beneath the earth and contain a variety of objects that depicted life during those times."
According to the Ghost Doctors, the time capsules contained everything from a Mickey Mouse watch to a Beatles record and both capsules are destined to be unearthed 5000 years from now.
"These time capsules are in fact time machines, traveling forward in time telling our story to future generations, but what is interesting is that when we investigated the area we found evidence of paranormal activity, which just might be a blast from the past," says Dr. Pete.
The Ghost Doctors can be found utilizing all sorts of ghost hunting equipment as they venture through Flushing Meadows while leading groups of amateur ghost hunters on investigations of lost and forgotten regions of this vast Queens park. Searching everything from towering behemoth remnants to 1900 year old Roman antiquities -– they comb the area like something out of an Indiana Jones movie, looking for messages from the past or maybe even from the beyond.
