The contribution detailed in the report titled 'London Calling: International Students' reveals that an average of £2.3 billion is added to London's capital economy each year, which is after £540 million has been taken out of account for public services. This figure is contrary to what's been suggested by Theresa May, who was considering a legislation to restrict net student immigration to zero.

This figure comes from having around 100,700 international students in London, with 70,000 jobs supported in the capital because of international students. Plus when it comes to the fear of immigrants staying long after they've finished their degrees, the report details that only 12.5 per cent stay.

More international students are also believed to do business with UK industries after graduation which helps the country as a whole, providing figures and information that goes against the negative stigma surrounding immigration.
