Lake Como, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/12/2015 -- June kicks off the exciting summer season at bars in the sunny beach town of Belmar, NJ, and a glimpse at their events schedule shows that Paul's Tavern heads the list of places to be. To kick off the summer festivities, Paul's Tavern will be hosting a range of exciting events throughout the month, from karaoke to live entertainment and Bingo.
Patrons can start their week off right at 7 p.m. Karaoke with Joe Kahwaty every Tuesday. They can also enjoy weekly specials on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during steak night, where for $15 they will receive a 12oz. NY Strip and 10oz draft beer or soda. On Wednesday, June 11th, patrons can stop by after 9 p.m. to catch Smile Mafia, a reggae group hailing from Belmar itself. Ed Tang & The Chops from Asbury Park, NJ, will also be playing a set on Friday, July 3rd, at 9:00 p.m. Saturdays between 5 and 10 p.m. will feature an eclectic variety of acts including No Direction, the Past Masters, Powder Keg, The Bones of Laylow Jones, Thick as Thieves, The Ruckus and Psychotic Submarines. Festivities on the 4th of July will include a performance by Spare Parts at the Patio Bar and George Pappa's Original Breakfast Bingo at noon.
Besides being one of the best bars in Belmar for live music, Paul's also features Open Bar Bracelet Clubs on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, where patrons can choose to purchase access to an open bar during a 3-hour period for just $25.
