Carvajal has a strong passion to create a more effective environment in regards to safety and environmental compliance. Her ability to speak both Spanish and English allows her to communicate more effectively in a multitude of environments. Jenny has serviced in a wide array of industrial/manufacturing settings and also has a great deal of experience dealing with the automotive sector.
Carvajal received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rutgers University in 2001. She also received a Dental Assistant Certification from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for approximately eight years, giving her infection control certification and exposure to blood borne pathogen requirements. More recently, she has had graduate coursework in Analytical Experimental Chemistry and Statistics.
Carvajal has previous employment experience working as a Research Teaching Specialist in the Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. During her time in a laboratory setting, Carvajal had exposure to multiple safety regulations and participated in training for hazardous/radioactive waste handling and other lab requirements and procedures. Prior to this, Carvajal worked for Harrison Research Laboratories as a Project Manager and Laboratory Technician.
