Moving Walkway Productions Starts Kickstarter Campaign for the Making of Their Short Horror Film 'Slayer'

Writer / Director Justin Staggs’ upcoming venture ‘Slayer’ is an 80s style, short horror film. Moving Walkway Productions needs to raise $40,000 to complete this project successfully.

Minneapolis, MN -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/12/2015 -- Justin Staggs' short horror film 'Slayer' will be an exciting combination of the classic 80's Spielberg / Amblin genre film with something much more intense and dark. The central character of the story is Kevin Grant, an inventive loner. Following his mother's tragic death, Kevin finds himself in an adolescent limbo. The story takes an interesting turn when Kevin witnesses the resurrection of an ancient evil in the form of a masked witch.

Writer / Director Justin Staggs have the track record of creating numerous music videos, films, and screenplays including an award-winning short film. Since many years, he has worked alongside Moving Walkway Productions to complete several ambitious projects with a "lean and mean" approach. Inspired by the same indomitable, independent spirit and judicious use of limited resources, they are confident about scripting yet another success story.

Talking about this upcoming film, a senior spokesperson from Moving Walkway Productions said, "SLAYER will transport you back in time to the imagined adventures, insecurities and fears of your childhood. But also remind you that just about anything is possible for a kid who dreams big - kids like us."

Moving Walkway Productions has just started a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to bring their film to life. This campaign will also help them grow their team of like-minded friends that will participate in this creative adventure. This project will only be funded if at least $40,000 is pledged by July 8, 2015.
