GS1 Connect Conference Included Importance of Direct Store Delivery

Standish, MI -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/18/2015 -- Delivering Excellence reported the GS1 Connect Conference included the importance of direct store delivery. The 15th annual GS1 Connect Conference and Exhibit was hosted by GS1 US at the JW Marriott Austin in Austin, Texas, May 31 - June 4, 2015. This year's conference theme "Innovate, Collaborate, Transform," reflected the power of GS1 Standards in addressing today's most pressing supply chain needs. While GS1 Standards have been an important part of the supply chain for more than 40 years, the organization continues to partner with industries to leverage and extend collaboration to meet today's business demands. Other solutions for direct store delivery were referenced including Magline's new self-stabilizing hand truck.

Andrea Horner, Magline's Vice President of Marketing reported there has been strong interest across multiple industries for the new self-stabilizing hand truck. Horner explained, "As a leader in the material handling industry, Magline is committed to creating innovative solutions that help people transport materials more safely and efficiently. Our customers depend on our team's knowledge, experience, personal service and innovation to provide them flexible solutions to meet a variety of route distribution needs. Our product offering of lightweight and ergonomically-designed Magliner solutions allow customers to move more loads with less physical stress delivering workplace safety and productivity."

The self-stabilizing hand truck improves both ergonomic safety and productivity, delivering an immediate ROI (return-on-investment). The self-stabilizing hand truck features a fully supported rotation which allows for easy maneuverability in confined spaces. The integrated kickstand holds the self-stabilizer in an upright position when loading, or when a load is not present.
