Coach Is QB Tournaments Announced in Los Angeles and San Diego for Summer 2015

Coach is QB, a Flag Football Tournament that allows the Coach or Dad to play Quarterback, announces new dates.

Thousand Oaks, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/25/2015 -- Coach is QB is a new flag football Tournament in which the Coaches and Dads are not only responsible for practice planning and team organization, they also play Quarterback for the team. Organizers have just announced new tournament dates in Los Angeles and San Diego for August 2015.

For the last tournament, held in Scottsdale, Arizona, over 400 participants got involved. This inspired D.B. Brooks, the director of operations, to expand the tournament into new locations on the west coast.

All levels of Coach/QB's are welcome to participate, including Dads, Coaches and even former Pro players. The Los Angeles Tournament will be held in Thousand Oaks on Aug 9th and the San Diego Tournament will be held on Aug 16th. The organization already has plans to visit San Francisco, Denver and Chicago before summer is out.

Youth Tackle and Flag Football Players aged 6-14 are welcomed to participate, enabling them to play in a Tournament alongside their Coach or Dad for the first time.

D.B. Brooks explained, "This Tournament is both exciting and unique, and the huge turnout in Scottsdale helps us realize it was time for a regional Coach is QB tour. For the first time ever a Coach can lace up the old cleats up and step in the huddle. After all, who doesn't dream of being the star QB? That's why the Tournament was an immediate hit from the beginning, and we hope for great responses from new cities as Youth to College level teams enter to see who will be crowned king of their state."
