Tiffany Hayden, Hytrol's engineering facilitator, oversees a group of four configuration design engineers. Hayden oversees a group of six designers that process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). "I organize each ECN and create a drawing to make the process easier for each designer as well as troubleshoot process delays and find solutions ensuring lean continuous process improvement. As a team, we receive engineering requests from engineering or manufacturing and determine if they turn into ECNs or can be fixed quickly without going through the ECN process," explained Hayden.
As a team, they create 3D parameterized models driven by the engineering department. The team also troubleshoots and assists any shop, laser, or engineering related manufacturing process improvement. Hayden is constantly improving her product and application knowledge. "I want to find a way to automate more processes in the future for my teams and for Hytrol. Coming in everyday to work and knowing that I'm making a difference is the most exciting part of my job," shared Hayden.
