Take Ownership of Your Own Fun by Supporting 'The Awesome Dice Project' on Kickstarter

West Springfield, VA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/07/2015 -- Customization is the future of gaming. As more people seek off-line, social games, Dexter's Dice is creating dice to reflect the diversity of gaming's individual subcultures. Their dice capture themes including cyberpunks, hackers, drones, social media and magic. They are gamers who believe the tools you play with can be as fun as the games you play. And now you can be part of it.

Dexter's Dice created the Kickstarter: "The Awesome Dice Project" seeking backers for their new dice. Their initial fundraising goal is $3,000, with stretch goals ranging from $5,000 to $11,000.

Dexter's Dice leverages new technology and advances in small-scale manufacturing, embodying the gaming version of the larger trend toward artisanal products. They are partnered with Q-Workshop, one of the best dice manufactures in the world, to bring their concepts to life.

Dice Created By Gamers, For Gamers

Rob Holliday, the project lead for Dexter's Dice, began the project when his role-playing group needed some specialty six-sided dice for their favorite games. When he couldn't find any, he decided to design his own. The initial dice designed by Rob and his team are based on cyberpunk themes, popularized by authors like William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Phillip K. Dick.
