Memphis, TN -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/15/2015 -- Memphis tech and game studio Criiq (pronounced "creek") is just one of many startups emerging out of the city's tech scene—and their first Android game, Frog Grub, retailing for 99 cents, is already gaining fans thanks to its addictive gameplay.

"I got the concept when I was teaching my 8-year old niece and 4-year old nephew how to code", said developer Memevi Aniglo. "When I first got the mockup, I wasn't happy with it, so I tweaked it until it was a game that I would pay $.99 for. Increasing the speed, the number of flies…I wanted people to come back for more. My personal best score was 27—and that was when I was completely focused!"

The game, which can be found on the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store, features a challenging count-down timer, high-speed retro-style action and is perfect for players of all ages.
