Josh Keene, has been appointed Board Member at Large to the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association’s (IASA) and is also reappointed to the Accounting & Assurance Advisory Task Force of the Virginia Society of CPA’s.
Raleigh, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/10/2010 -- Josh Keene, CPA, Partner of Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP has been appointed Board Member At Large to the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association’s (IASA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter. The Mid-Atlantic Chapter is comprised of insurance professionals from Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Virginia and any other eligible companies that may find it convenient to join in Chapter activities. Along with the chapter’s board members, Josh will continue to participate in IASA events and plan the various insurance focused educational and networking opportunities for their chapter members.
IASA is a non-profit, education association and one of the leading member-company insurance organizations. It is comprised primarily of volunteers from the insurance industry and supporting businesses and is supported by a small full time staff. IASA offers educational venues to its membership in the form of conferences, publications and seminars in a variety of effective and timely ways.
Josh Keene serves as audit engagement partner or audit quality review partner for numerous entities. Josh is the co-leader of Johnson Lambert’s Metro DC insurance practice and has spent his entire professional career focused on audits of property-casualty insurance companies, including captives, risk retention groups, large private insurers and public companies.
Josh was recently reappointed to the Accounting & Assurance Advisory Task Force of the Virginia Society of CPA’s. He is a member of the NAIC/AICPA Task Force and attends the quarterly meetings of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners on behalf of Johnson Lambert. Josh also contributed to the technical review of the June 1, 2009 AICPA Audit and Accounting Guide for Property and Liability Insurance Companies.
Josh is a graduate of The College of William & Mary where he earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
