Travco Plays a Strong Role at the WTM 2010

 

Cairo, Egypt -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/09/2010 -- Bringing together all the travel industry’s key players from all sectors under one roof, WTM 2010 marked a superb networking and marketing ground for Travco Group to put on show its high- end services and premier products. Travco’s customary participation provided a strong presence at the fair, which took place in London from November 8th till November 11th, 2010.

Travco Group was present to explore new horizons and keep up with the latest tourism trends, and Travco’s delegation was headed by Travco Chairman and CEO Mr. Hamed El Chiaty. Travco seized every opportunity to shed light on its status earned as a key player in the Middle East’s tourism industry, and showcased its products and services through its numerous stands for the group and all its subsidiaries.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Koraa stated “The exhibition was very productive as we managed to conduct meetings with several potential partners from around the world including Serbia, UK, Italy, Kenya, Canada, Portugal, USA and Armenia. Most of these companies are leaders in the tourism and hospitality fields, and are negotiating the possibility of including Egypt as their recommended destination in their winter 10/11 and 12 plans in collaboration with Travco Group.”

Travco Dubai also participated in this event under the umbrella of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing DTCM, and was represented by its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Osama Bushra, General Manager, Ms Jyoti Panchmatia.

Mr. Bushra’s take on the event was that “it’s remarkably a greater success for Travco Dubai than last year as we had so many renowned Tour Operators in Briton willing to take up participation in UAE and Oman’s year-round brochures. While the WTM is a global platform Travco earned a great advantage of getting many enquiries for future cooperation from the East European market, which is an emerging market for the UAE. At this occasion, Travco Jordan as well had similar advantages of its presence by being able to tie up with a number of new Tour Operators and partners”.

The World Travel Market WTM is annually staged in London, and this year it took place from the 8th to the 11th of November. It is a vibrant must attend four-day B2B event presenting a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and international travel professionals.
