The International Institute of Information & Technology (i2it) Hosts an International Conference on Stem Cells and Cancer (icscc-2010)

The International Institute of information & Technology will be hosting an International Conference on Stem Cells and Cancer (ICSCC-2010) from the 11thto the 14th November 2010. The conference will be held at the I2IT campus and will be open to all.

 

Pune, Maharashtra -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/09/2010 -- Pune, 4th December 2010: The International Institute of information & Technology will be hosting an International Conference on Stem Cells and Cancer (ICSCC-2010) from the 11thto the 14th November 2010. The conference will be held at the I2IT campus and will be open to all.

The four day conference will encompass all areas in stem cells and cancer research including basic research on proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of stem and cancer cells and applied and clinical aspects including stem cell therapy and gene therapy.

Eminent speakers from across the globe will be present to deliver lectures during the conference. Some of the confirmed speakers are:

In addition to the lectures by the various eminent personalities in this field there will be activities for the students and faculty participating in the conference as well. Best Oral presentation would get a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 and best Poster presentation would get a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. There will be at least ten poster presentation awards and five oral presentation awards to students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculties based on the submitted abstracts and the actual presentation of the work at the conference. A total of 15 sessions are planned with 80 speakers from around the world.
