High-Wattage Floor Steamer Line for MRSA Applications

Daimer provides details for 15 new high-wattage machines that incorporate the company's ATIS®microbe-fighting system, as well as institutional vacuum/extraction units.

Woburn, MA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/27/2010 -- Daimer Industries, Inc.®, widely recognized for its antibacterial KleenJet® vacuum steam cleaners, released more details on an upcoming line of series 10000 floor steamer systems. The new equipment is expected to offer Daimer®'s highest pressure levels as well as temperatures topping 350ºF. The systems are being engineered for sterilization and MRSA eradication applications.

Daimer® new floor steamer equipment is expected to include four lines featuring extraction systems. Each of the 15 machines will be outfitted with a Daimer® MRSA-proven ATIS® antimicrobial unit offering EPA compliance.

"MRSA has spread from hospitals to dormitories, military facilities, and sports locker rooms," said Matthew Baratta, Daimer.com ATIS® and floor steamer spokesman. "As a result, we're planning to introduce a slew of new machines offering a range of features and functions for the biggest jobs involving the most dangerous germs."

New High-Powered Vacuum Floor Steamer Fights MRSA

MRSA, sometimes called HA-MRSA, CA-MRSA or ORSA, is a known antibiotic-resisting bacteria that can cause treatment resistant infections in humans.

Hygiene and germ authorities have recommended combating the germs with sanitization procedures that can include the appropriate use of vacuum steam cleaners. Scientific tests have shown Daimer®'s ATIS® floor steamer systems to be effective at destroying MRSA bacteria.

Daimer®s expects to release its 10000 CVP series by year-end. The 15 antiseptic steam cleaners will be divided into four lines of products: the 10100 CVP, 10200 CVP, 10300 CVP and the 10400 CVP.

The new floor steamer systems are expected to feature Daimer®'s highest levels of pressure (reaching 150 psi), highest levels of temperature (nearly 386º F), along with extraction vacuum systems.

The extraction units will offer suction levels of 3200 mm in water column lift, water filtration to trap particles and extraction tanks rated for 35 liters. The extraction steam cleaners are expected to provide wattage levels as high as high as 40,000 watts (about 25 times more than a 1,600 watt machine.) A machine with higher wattage provides denser steam for longer periods of time.
