Nashville recording artist Tim Dugger’s new song RACING FOR A CURE is drawing national attention all across the U.S.A. Tim has joined forces with GMAXX Marketing and the RACING FOR A CURE Motorsports team to help raise awareness for cancer research.
Nashville, TN -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/10/2011 -- Tim has performed at many different charity events giving of his time and using his talents to help others. While it’s no surprise to see Tim involved with the RACING FOR A CURE organization, this time its personal.
Tim has seen first hand how cancer can affect a family. He has watched as his mother and father have had to fight for their lives because of cancer. Tim’s mother was found to have cancer when Tim was just 10 years old. More recently he’s had to watch his father go through chemo therapy for lung cancer. Tim and his new song RACING FOR A CURE are on a mission. Tim believes we can stamp out cancer in our lifetime.
Alabama native Tim Dugger is young but has been performing what seems like all of his life. From singing in church with family at the age of 7 to performing live on stage at the age of 14 Tim is a well respected member of the Nashville music community. Tim has collaborated with such well known writers as J.R. McCoy, Scott Lynch . Matt Cline and many others. Tim’s debut album was Country Music Man. He has also put out CD;s titled What Country Means To Me and Country Rocks. His single Tennessee is now being played on radio stations all over the country.
Tim fills clubs and arenas every where he goes. Tim is also very popular around Nashville playing in such famous places as Tooties’, The Wild Horse Saloon and the Nashville Palace. Tim loves to perform for live audiences all over the country. Tim enjoys get close with his fans. Tim was also featured on the reality show " HIGHWAY TO FAME".
