Appenzell, Switzerland -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/21/2011 -- The international trade fair named World Future Energy Summit 2011 (WFES) – belonging among the world’s elite in the area of the photovoltaic industry – took place on January 17th – 20th 2011 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The internationally very well known trade fair taking place along with a series of conferences was in its the fourth season already since 2008, and this year, just as in the previous years, it also attracted a large number of visitors from around the globe.

World Future Energy Summit Exhibit and Conference
Over the course of the four days the World Future Energy Summit introduced the newest technologies and innovations in the area of renewable energy sources and the environment. The conferences were held at a very high level mainly due to the careful selection of speakers, top experts from the area of solar industry. The visitors were given a unique opportunity to get acquainted with market innovations, as well as with elite representatives of top international companies from the segment of solar energy and photovoltaics.

Phono Technologies Switzerland with its extensive exhibit of products from the PhonoSolar photovoltaic panels series and all of the photovoltaic power plant projects implemented to date was also present among the exhibitors. PhonoSolar photovoltaic panels rank among the world’s best. PhonoSolar panels are for example used at the 9th largest photovoltaic power plant in the world – the FVE CZECH Vep?ek with a total output of 35.10 MWp. This power plant has 186,960 PhonoSolar panels installed.
