Rhino Marketing Sponsors Canucks for Kids Fund Dice & Ice Event

Rhino Marketing Inc. is proud to have been part of another extremely successful Vancouver Canucks Dice & Ice Benefit.

Vancouver, BC -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/11/2011 -- Rhino Marketing Inc., one of North America’s leading marketing agencies, is proud to have been part of another extremely successful Vancouver Canucks Dice & Ice Benefit. This year marked Rhino’s third time as a Friends of the Canucks For Kids Fund sponsor of the event.

The exclusive gala, which raises funds for the Canucks For Kids Fund in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and Canucks Autism Network, is a rare opportunity for guests to mingle with Canuck players and coaching staff. Held February 10th at Vancouver’s Hyatt Regency, the casino style fundraiser showcased Canuck players, up close and personal, at the helm of their own blackjack tables and roulette wheels.

As a Friends of the Canucks For Kids Fund sponsor, Doug and Heather Morneau received an invitation to a private reception earlier that evening in “Lui’s Lounge.” There, Roberto Luongo went head to head with a handful of lucky guests in a game of Texas Hold’em, and Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis and Head Coach Alain Vigneault mingled with the crowd.

“We’re huge Canucks fans and we’re so proud to be involved with Dice & Ice,” said Doug Morneau, Chief Rhino at Rhino Marketing Inc. “Not only do we get to help out these amazing charities, it’s also a rare chance to get to know some of the players off the ice.”

Rhino Marketing’s Community Engagement Manager, Heather Morneau, also sat on the Dice & Ice auction committee and helped bring in some of the items available in the live and silent auctions.
