Carolina Mudcats Host Consecutive Homestands Against Tennessee Teams

Wake County’s Hometown Pro Baseball Team Faces Tennessee Smokies And Chattanooga Lookouts April 18-27 At Five County Stadium

 

Zebulon, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/21/2011 -- The Carolina Mudcats (http://www.carolinamudcats.com), Wake County’s hometown professional baseball team, is proud to announce the longest stretch of continuous home games during its 21st season with two back-to-back homestands, against the Tennessee Smokies beginning Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22, followed by the Chattanooga Lookouts starting Saturday, April 23 through Wednesday, April 27. The Mudcats will offer several promotions at Five County Stadium during the 10-day period.

KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets will occur April 19 and 26. Fans may buy one ticket and get one free from KRAFT Singles with purchase. Bring your package wrapper to a Carolina Mudcats game on Tuesdays for a steal of a deal. Visit http://www.kraftsingles.com for more info. Exclusions apply.

On April 20 and 27, the Mudcats will observe 2 for 1 Wednesdays, presented by Food Lion. Buy one box seat ticket and get a second box seat ticket for free, subject to availability.

Following completion of the Friday, April 22 game, the Mudcats will have Friday Night Fireworks presented by Traveler's Insurance and Moore & Johnson Agency.

The team will host the fan-favorite Kids Run the Bases event after the Sunday, April 24 game.

The weekday games start at 7:15 p.m., while the Saturday game starts at 6:15 p.m. and the Sunday game at 2 p.m.

- The Tennessee Smokies is the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The team is based in Knoxville.

- The Chattanooga Lookouts is the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

- Tickets are available for all 70 regular season home games through Sept. 5. Regular season ticket prices are as follows: $12.50 Cattails Restaurant, $11 Premium Field-Level, $10 Box Seats, $9 Reserved Field Level and $6 General Admission. In addition to single game tickets, package plans including season tickets are still available.

- The Mudcats offer a $1 ticket discount for children (7-12), senior citizens (65+) and military personnel in the Box Seats, Reserved Field Level and General Admission sections.

- Children (ages 4-6) receive discounted tickets for $3 in the General Admission, Reserved Field Level and Box Seats. Children ages 3 and below receive complimentary General Admission tickets, Reserved Field Level and Box Seats if a seat is required. These discounts and complimentary offers do not apply to Premium Field level and Cattails Restaurant and may not be purchased online.
