The 128i uses a 3.0-liter I6 engine that generates 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. The 135i uses the same engine but with twin scroll turbocharger that pumps it up to 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. And in an instant, are able to detect any threat of the vehicle overturning. If an accident occurs, the roll-over bars shoot up in a fraction of a second and provide protection for the vehicle’s occupants. The strengthened frame around the A pillar and windscreen also protect the head area and together with roll-over bars provide comprehensive roll-over protection.
