Wells, Somerset -- (SBWIRE) --06/07/2011 -- This year will mark a milestone for the staff at The B&B Directory in Somerset, as it will be the 4th year running they have entered into the Race for Life, run by Cancer Research UK.

This year female staff members are taking part in the race along with partners, children and friends, some of which will be present on the day in a supporting role to cheer the team on and congratulate them at the end, not to mention to provide sponsorship money for the cause!

The team raised over £300 between them last year and this year have set themselves a target of £500. They will be canvassing round their family and friends and no doubt sponsoring each other to take part and make it to the finish line.

“Our training so far this year has been going well, we’re gradually speeding up the pace and are all hoping to get round the course in less than 45 minutes” says Rachael Venour, one of the teams runners.

The team all fully support the cause, and with the majority of us having our lives touched by cancer in some way, are looking forward to raising as much money as they can.
