Cedar Brook Financial Partners LLC Raises Money for MedWish International

Employees at the Cleveland wealth management firm pay to wear jeans to work to support MedWish

Cleveland, OH -- (SBWIRE) --06/13/2011 -- Employees at Cleveland-based Cedar Brook Financial Partners paid $5 to wear jeans to work on April 29, 2011. All funds were donated to MedWish International but only after two Cedar Brook partners, Ken Rogat and Randy Schneider, matched the impressive hundreds of dollars raised.

MedWish International, founded in 1993 by Lee Ponsky, M.D., provides donated medical supplies to improve the health and save lives of people in need across the globe. The non-profit organization is committed to the recovery and recycling of donated medical supplies area healthcare providers must discard.

“MedWish is an amazing organization,” explained Ken Rogat, Cedar Brook partner. “People in developing nations are literally dying for what our hospitals dispose of every day. MedWish bridges that gap and provides our medical surplus to help save lives overseas and the environment,” continued Rogat.

MedWish International is just one of several charities Cedar Brook supports each year. Every Thanksgiving, Cedar Brook advisors and associates volunteer at the Cleveland Food Bank. 2011 was the fourth year in a row Cedar Brook conducted a firm-wide program to raise donations for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign.
