Remote Control Cooler Drives Forward with Kickstarter Campaign

The Rover is the world’s first all-terrain, RC cooler with working headlights and music system in one.

Watertown, WI -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/17/2014 -- C3 Custom Coolers has launched the Rover remote-controlled cooler in a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.

Everyone enjoys the fun of tailgate parties and picnics, but lugging that bulky, heavy cooler is a necessary chore before the fun begins. Doug Martin set out to turn this around; how can you make the cooler part of the excitement instead of a necessary burden? Enter the ROVER – the world’s first all-terrain cooler that becomes the hit of the party.

“The Rover is all about being functional without forgetting the fun,” said inventor Doug Martin. “It must excel as a high-end cooler, but with the added features of drivability, lights and music. We even have built-in dual cup holders. The Rover is also available in your favorite team through licenses with the NFL, MLB and more than 100 colleges,” added Martin.

Kickstarter is the world’s largest crowdfunding platform for creative projects. The Rover campaign is active on kickstarter.com and runs through December 3 with a target of $45,000. “Kickstarter is a great platform to raise awareness in the market for the Rover, generate market feedback, and raise capital to allow us to ramp up our production capacity,” stated Martin.
