Sanford, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/27/2016 -- The RenegadeWorks scholarship is available to students age 18 or older who are currently enrolled or have been accepted to a two or four year accredited university within the U.S.

To compete in the scholarship contest, participants must submit an original essay of 500-600 words. The topic of the essay will be: "What single sector, industry or area of society do you see producing the most technological innovation over the next 10 years and why? The essay should answer the following questions:
What specific innovations do you believe will be a part of that growth?
How will these innovations benefit society as a whole?
What will be the consequences of these innovations?
What actions should businesses in the U.S. take today to remain competitive in light of such innovations?
The top three essays will receive a cash scholarship award. The first place essay winner will receive $1,000, the second place winner will receive $500, and the third place winner will be awarded $250 toward their educational costs.
To enter, individuals must complete the application form on the company's website and submit their essay. The deadline for entries is July 31, 2017 and winners will be notified by Aug. 30, 2017.
