The analytic provider revealed that there is a 76% response rate from brands on Facebook, with companies answering queries and comments posted on the social pages. The rate experienced an 8% increase from the first quarter of 2015.
The response rate also helped increase general engagement on Facebook pages, with brands who engaged generating four times as much engagement than those with slow and low response rates.
In comparison, Twitter only has a current 28% response rate from brands, with many failing to understand how to fully engage with the millions of Twitter users. Those that do engage are rewarded with strong engagement, and is an area many brands need to improve on to fully maximize social potential.
