Rockstar Chemicals Issued Statement Regarding the Indefinite Shutdown of Their Website

Miami Beach, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/13/2014 -- Rockstar Chemicals sent a letter to its customers and newsletter subscribers explaining why the company’s website, http://www.rockstarchemicals.com , was temporarily not available. The letter explains, in part, that the website’s Domain Registrar, GoDaddy, which is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, apparently responded to a request from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in London, England. The site’s owner, Robert Alotta, was not notified prior to the website’s removal and was not given an opportunity to make preparations prior to the site’s closure.

“..  Even though this agency has no authority in the USA that I am aware of, I have offered the agency my full cooperation with the investigation. I have even provided them the information needed to dispute their claims and prove my business is 100% compliant with the laws here and abroad.  Even with undeniable facts, they have refused to remove the suspension.” – Robert, Alotta, Owner, Rockstar Chemicals

Alotta is still in business through a sister company whose website is www.peptidepros.net where he says customers can expect the same great service and quality they have come to expect from Rockstar Chemicals.  Inquiries and media contact can be made through info@peptidepros.net

According to GoDaddy’s policies that indicate they will notify a website owner by email or mail prior to removal in conjunction with a subpoena. GoDaddy Terms of Service accessed 23 February 2014:

Terms Specific to Civil Subpoenas:

Notice to Customer and Response Time

Upon the receipt of a valid civil subpoena, Go Daddy will promptly notify the customer whose information is sought via e-mail or U.S. mail. If the circumstances do not amount to an emergency, Go Daddy will not immediately produce the customer information sought by the subpoena and will provide the customer an opportunity to move to quash the subpoena in court. Go Daddy reserves the right to charge an administration fee to the customer by charging the Payment Method the customer has on file with Go Daddy.

Alotta states in his letter: “On  February 19, 2014, without warning, due process, court order or injunction, GoDaddy.com suspended our service at the mere request of an investigator with”…MHRA. This agency appears to have no authority in the United States, where both GoDaddy and Rockstar Chemicals are based.

Alotta makes it clear that he has responded to all requests from this British authority, to no avail. GoDaddy refuses to reinstate the website. He and his attorneys are exploring what legal recourse they may have, but at this point the damage is already done.  Further inquiries are being made by this organization and members of the press.
