Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Roland Dickey, Jr. Continues Expansion Plans Across the Keystone State

Roland Dickey, Jr. has sent his personal congratulations to franchise owners launching Dickey’s Barbecue Pit restaurants across Pennsylvania, expanding the company to new neighborhoods.

Dallas, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/09/2015 -- Roland Dickey, Jr. has had a busy year in 2015, but his personal engagements on the conference circuit have not deterred him from continuing the aggressive growth of his Dickey's Barbecue franchise, which now offers Texas style barbecue nationwide in over five hundred locations. Roland Dickey, Jr. is continuing explosive growth plans across the Northeast by bringing its signature slow-smoked barbecue to Pennsylvania with the addition of six future store locations following two newly executed Development Agreements. The new Dickey's Barbecue Pit stores will be located in the communities of Robinson Township, Cranberry Township, Hanover, Gettysburg and two stores in York.

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. currently has 12 stores in the state of Pennsylvania and is gradually increasing its presence throughout the northeastern United States. Owner/Operator Dennis Dacheux, Sr. is opening four stores in South Central Pennsylvania with son, Dennis Dacheux, Jr. The new stores in Robinson Township and Cranberry Township will be run by Owner/Operator Lynda Tran. "This area doesn't have a lot of barbecue," Tran says. "People are eating out more and they are attracted by Dickey's simplicity, authenticity and quality."

"We look forward to continuing to bring delicious, slow-smoked barbecue to the state of Pennsylvania, a region that doesn't typically see many barbecue options. Our authentic Texas barbecue and homestyle sides has been very well received," said Roland Dickey, Jr. "We congratulate the Dacheux and Tran families, and can't wait to help them get started on their new stores."
