Expanding into the global digital marketplace, indie author Tracy Falbe placed all four titles of the Rys Rising fantasy series into the Google Play store in late October. The first novel in the epic saga, Rys Rising, is a free ebook on Google Play so readers can discover this underground talent of the fantasy writing world.

Battle Creek, MI -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/27/2014 -- The Rys Rising series that has already earned high praise at the Nook, Kindle, and iBooks stores is now available in the Google Play store as of the last week of October.

Readers of ebooks in the Google Play store can get Rys Rising: Book I as a free ebook in any of the countries served by Google’s digital marketplace.

After Rys Rising, the series continues in the novels Savage Storm, New Religion, and Love Lost.

The author Tracy Falbe has written ten fantasy novels. She began writing fantasy fiction in 1997 and has been self producing her novels for a worldwide market since 2006.

“I was selling pdf ebooks from my website in 2006 back before Kindles or tablets hit the market and people were saying no one would read ebooks,” Falbe said.

Her fans have praised her Rys Rising series for strong characters, a stunning fantasy world, and the multi-faceted storyline that the author weaves together across four books into an epic conclusion.

A reader in the Nook Store called it a “Fabulous Series” and wrote in a review that “I couldn’t put any of these books down.”

About Rys Rising: Book I
A young warrior ruined and near death is saved by Onja a mysterious rys female. Forsaking all that he was, he will take the name Amar and serve his new magical mistress. A lord among outlaws he will become, feared by kings and called the dro-shalum or curse demon by the common folk.

Falbe’s expansion into Google Play is a natural next step for her. She has always been committed to making her fiction available globally in many formats.

Google Play offers browser-based reading of ebooks through Android devices and computers. This provides its customers easy access to their ebooks without tying them to any particular kind of e-reading device.

The global reach of the Google Play store also appeals to the author because her books have proven appealing to people from numerous countries over the years.

“I have fans in the UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and of course in my country the U.S.,” Falbe said. “I’ve even had sales through my website from countries like India and Qatar.”

She plans to continue adding titles to Google Play until her complete catalog is available there.
