Washington Rescue animal sanctuary and Scott Tucker will co-host “Reptile Learning Day” to raise awareness of area wildlife. Never Be Bored will feature the function and share an interview with Tucker.
San Diego, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/12/2015 -- Entertainment web center Never Be Bored will feature the upcoming "Reptile Learning Day," an outdoors educational function co-hosted by Scott Tucker and Washington Rescue. The function starts at 9am on October 13, with activities to teach children of all ages about local animals.
"There are so many camps and events to learn about mammals, this camp will expand on the animal kingdom," says Never Be Bored contributor Stanley Greyson. "We support people like Scott Tucker who want to educate the public in a fun way. He has this incredible approach of building activities and educational lectures around awareness and real life application of animal knowledge."
The all day function will feature multiple booths for children of different age groups to learn and play with different types of reptiles. Multiple group projects will be held throughout the day for parents and children to work together on.
"The enthusiastic staff at Washing Rescue were happy to help me put this on for the public," says Tucker. "They are just as concerned as I am with awareness and education about reptiles and the relationship they have with the public. We want to spread the truth and squash and misconceptions that kids and parents might have about the local wildlife."
Never Be Bored will publish photos from the event of attendees and the reptiles featured at the different educational booths. Tickets will go on sale next month for $5 per person over the age of five and include one free drink.
Scott Tucker has been planning the event with Washington Rescue for the past three months, preparing different reptiles to be handled safely around children. The function is going to be held in the enclosed green house in back of the Washington Rescue building.
