“Be A Better You,” a fall workshop created by Scott Tucker and A Shoe In Fashion, will begin this October. A Shoe In Fashion previews the event and will feature photos from the workshop's final week.
Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/11/2015 -- Scott Tucker, a professional Philadelphia area make up artist, will begin a month long workshop for adult men and women age 18 and up who desire more education on basic makeup application. A Shoe In Fashion featured Tucker in a recent article and will assist in capturing photo's of the course.
"There are plenty of adult men and women in the area who need this kind of basic assistance," says Holly Innman, junior editor of A Shoe In Fashion. "We are happy to spotlight this project and help curate a workshop that actually improves the lives of people. Makeup application is overlooked by a lot of people who think they just do not have the time or that they already know enough to get by."
The workshop, which will happen each Saturday during the month of October at Tucker's private work studio, will contain advice and recommendations tailored to each individual participant in addition to general application knowledge. The workshop will have spots for 15 adults to enroll with a five person waiting list.
"Our goal with the creation of this workshop is to inspire men and women to try a little harder," says Tucker. "For many years of their adulthood, people become stuck in a low maintenance routine that typically doesn't serve them, we want to tweak things and make them more effective. Makeup application should be simple and give an editorial professional look."
The final workshop meeting will feature each participant's best efforts on personal makeup application and will be photographed by A Shoe In Fashion. The attendees in the final week should be able to safely apply: mascara, tone matching concealer, eyeliner/browliner, lip liner, and lipstains.
