Spokane, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/20/2015 -- Never Be Bored, an entertainment website dedicated to thrilling its readers, will feature Scott Tucker's newly formed slam poetry club in Spokane, WA. The feature will detail Tucker's motivation for starting the club and his planned schedule for membership meetings.
"Our next feature will be totally dedicated to poetry, with Scott Tucker at the center of it explaining why he has to make this new club," says Never Be Bored contributor John Hamilton. "It is important for us to cover the happenings of the poetry world, unfortunately there isn't always a lot going on. We choose April as our poetry month because spring seems to awaken all the sleepy poets out there and we like to catch them at their most fresh."
The slam poetry club will meet at a number of public coffee houses after 10pm exclusively. Members of the club are encouraged to bring their own poetry with extra notebook paper for criticism given and received by other members. Poetry will be read at every club meeting on a voluntary basis in the public coffee house setting.
"There have been a few months of planning and discussion before I decided to officially announce the club's formation," says Tucker. "The simplicity of starting a club has escaped me, I have spent weeks considering what the ideal slam poetry club would look like. Thank goodness for my predecessors or I would have just been grasping at straws, I've never formed a club like this before and needed so much help."
Tucker's slam poetry club will be open for new members to participate at the first official coffee house meeting. Private communication with Tucker and existing members will be available online through the Never Be Bored website this November.
