Illustrator and author Scott Tucker will release a book for children about diversity in the United States this winter. Happy Homes and Pets to feature the book's release on their website with an interview with the author.
Eugene, OR -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/30/2015 -- Happy Homes and Pets, a wholesome family safe website for everyone, will show the cover and some interior art from the new Scott Tucker "Tiger and Fish" children's book. The 20 page book will be released this winter.
"We think Scott Tucker has been a brilliant illustrator for many years already and can't wait to show some of his upcoming work on our site," says Happy Homes and Pets editor Jenny Kent. "I personally love the abstract style of his, I think it's so wonderful the way adults and children can appreciate it. This new book is a little more in the eastern style and it's really a treat."
The book, which was written and illustrated by Tucker, will feature drawings and descriptions of how different animals can get along despite their differences. The book will teach children about appreciating each person and animal for who or what they are.
"When I started drawing fish and tiger's a few months ago the story idea came to me," says Tucker. "I was explaining how there are different kinds of relationships to my daughter and drawing the animals and just put it all together. I hope the story is as good as the art, I know the art is really great, my family says it is at least."
The book is intended to be read to children under the age of 10, adult supervision recommended for children under the age of eight. The book will be free for electronic download on the day of it's release, hard copies will be available in select Eugene, OR retailers.
