The Subway Platform concept was developed in coordination with Whirlpool Corp., which uses Seegrid's vision-guided pallet trucks and tow tractors in its manufacturing operations. Users track automated operations at a glance, without having to run reports; the tool displays VGV status, so that assembly operators known when their materials will arrive.

Designed to reduce downtime in the supply chain, Seegrid provides a "subway-style" estimated time-of-arrival projections and data-collection capabilities at each station where Seegrid's vision-guided vehicles (VGVs) retrieve or deliver materials. Seegrid Supervisor is the vendor's fleet-management tool, allowing users to remotely connect, monitor, and control VGV fleets.
